The Hub Church consists of a wide range of different people, from all ages and different backgrounds. Whoever you are you are assured a very warm welcome.
You are welcome to turn up early if you’ve never been, there will be people around to welcome you. You’ll also be pleased there is free parking in the car park opposite the church. Click here for directions on how to find us.
You can wear whatever you feel comfortable in. We are an informal church and everyone has their own style.
Our meetings include lively worship with a great band, after this we listen to an inspiring talk. The children have their own worship and meeting during ours. We finish our meeting around midday, with tea and coffee. Our aim is that whether you are just looking into Christianity for the first time or have been a Christian for many years, that you should be encouraged and inspired by the morning. The evening service starts at 6:30pm and ends about 8:30pm and is very similar to the morning. However, it is multi-lingual to enable our mission students from Brazil, who do not speak English fluently, to participate more fully.
We are a Christian church and believe that anyone can have a relationship with God. We believe this relationship with God is possible because of Jesus (God’s only son). We have friendly relationships with other local churches from both traditional and modern backgrounds. If you are interested in exploring the Christian faith then please come along on a Sunday.
Absolutely not! To help us grown in our faith and study the bible in more depth we have midweek small groups (a small group is simply a meeting of maybe 10 people in someone’s house). Small groups are a great way to spend time together, enjoying sharing.(and sometimes food too!). If you are just looking into Christianity you are welcome to come along to a small group but you may prefer to join an Alpha course. Alpha is a great way to find out more about God and the claims of Christianity. No question is too stupid and you’ll find other people also exploring God for the first time too. Email us to find out when our alpha course is running, and have a look at the following link, which explains about what to expect: http://uk.alpha.org/
We aim to be an all-inclusive church. If you wish to discuss specific needs please email us. Our premises are wheelchair accessible and there are toilet facilities for the disabled too. We do not currently have a loop for hearing aid users (please tell us if this would be helpful). However, for deaf people we do have a member who is fully trained in signing.
Finally you may want to request a welcome pack, this gives you even more information.
